Hancock Courthouse Fire

In the early morning hours of August 11, 2014, the 1881 Hancock County Courthouse in Sparta, GA, caught fire. The salvage of records has not yet been possible because coal stored in the basement continues to burn. Visit HERA’s website and sign up to follow the blog for the latest updates.
